# Lightsage MCP

> Connect a compatible AI client to the hosted Lightsage MCP server.

Use MCP when your agent runs in a hosted connector such as ChatGPT or Claude, or cannot run a shell.

## Connect to the server

Lightsage hosts a remote MCP server for compatible clients:

Clients such as ChatGPT, Claude, Codex, and Cursor support OAuth sign-in. Other client configurations use an API key. Follow the guide for your client.
