# Visibility

> Retrieve visibility metrics, citations, competitors, and prompt reports from the Lightsage CLI.

Visibility commands retrieve computed metrics from stored prompt results. They do not start new prompt runs.

## Commands

| Command | Description |
| - | - |
| `lightsage visibility current-retrieve` | Retrieve the current visibility score and share of voice. |
| `lightsage visibility overview-retrieve` | Retrieve the visibility summary, trends, platform breakdown, and competitors. |
| `lightsage visibility citations-list` | List the most cited URLs. |
| `lightsage visibility prompts-retrieve` | Retrieve per-topic and per-prompt visibility metrics. |

## Current visibility

```

Filter by date range:

```bash theme={null}
lightsage visibility current-retrieve \
  --start-date 2026-08-01 \
  --end-date 2026-08-31
```

The response includes the visibility score, share of voice, platform ranks, and date-range metadata.

## Visibility overview

```bash theme={null}
lightsage visibility overview-retrieve
```

The overview adds daily trends, per-platform breakdowns, and competitor comparisons to the current snapshot.

## Top cited URLs

```bash theme={null}
lightsage visibility citations-list
```

Filter by platform, source type, or limit:

```bash theme={null}
lightsage visibility citations-list \
  --platform chatgpt \
  --source-type owned \
  --limit 50
```

Source type values: `all`, `owned`, `external`.

## Prompt visibility report

```bash theme={null}
lightsage visibility prompts-retrieve
```

Returns per-topic and per-prompt visibility metrics including score, rank, share of voice, average position, and citation counts.
