Use the Lightsage CLI for coding agents with shell access. It is the best interface for workflows that poll, filter, or script structured output.

Install and authenticate

brew install lightsagehq/tools/lightsage
export LIGHTSAGE_API_KEY="ls_cli_your_api_key"
lightsage status auth-status-get --no-interactive

Add --no-interactive when commands should run without prompts. Use --output-format json when your agent needs structured output.
