Use this path for Claude web (claude.ai), Claude Desktop custom connectors, Claude mobile, and other hosted Claude connector surfaces. The hosted Lightsage MCP endpoint supports OAuth, so Claude connects directly. You sign in with your Lightsage account and choose which organization the connection can access — no API key, and nothing to paste into a config file.

Add a custom connector

  1. Go to Add Custom Connector.
  2. Set Name to Lightsage.
  3. Set Remote MCP server URL to:
  4. Leave OAuth Client ID and OAuth Client Secret blank. Claude registers itself with Lightsage automatically.
  5. Click Add.

Sign in and authorize

Claude opens a Lightsage sign-in window:
  1. Sign in with your Lightsage account (the same login you use for the dashboard).
  2. Choose the organization this connection should access.
  3. Review the requested permissions and approve.
Claude receives an access token scoped to the organization you selected. The connection can only act on that organization.

Test the connection

In a new chat, confirm the connector is enabled, then run a read-only prompt:
